Scott Webb is President of Kolter Hospitality, and is responsible for the oversight and management of the firm’s day to day operations including hotel development and management.  Mr. Webb is an active hotel developer with an extensive background in the commercial sector, including his previous role as President of Kolter’s Commercial Division, where he oversaw the expansion of the company’s commercial development opportunities in North America.

Mr. Webb was responsible for the development and formation of Kolter Hospitality in April 2014, which currently manages the day to day operations for eleven hotels totaling 1,911 keys located throughout Florida.  Kolter Hospitality and its portfolio of hotels, under the leadership of Mr. Webb, have received numerous industry distinctions and awards of recognition for performance excellence in the past 10+ years.



John BeatonSenior Vice President, Operations jbeaton@kolterhospitality.com

As Senior Vice President of Operations, John is responsible for working directly with each of the hotel teams to improve overall operational efficiency as well as working closely with senior leadership to develop and deliver on the company’s strategy and objectives.  Mr. Beaton has over 30 years of hospitality management experience, in both independent and branded hotels in the US and Canada, including major brands such as Hilton, Marriott, Wyndham and Starwood hotels. 

Prior to joining Kolter Hospitality, John was the SVP of Operations at Interstate Hotels and Resorts and had direct oversight of a diverse portfolio of full service hotels ranging from urban convention hotels to luxury resorts.  Prior to being the SVP of Operations for Interstate, Beaton handled operations for several Four Diamond Hotels, including the Westin San Diego, Westin Bristol Place Toronto and the Wyndham WindWatch in New York. 



James HansenVice President, Sales & Marketing jhansen@kolterhospitality.com

As Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Mr. Hansen is responsible for the oversight of Kolter Hospitality’s sales and marketing efforts, top line revenues and assisting with the company's overall growth platform.  With 15 plus years of hotel sales and operating experience, Mr. Hansen has held various Director of Sales, Area Director and Sales Manager positions with organizations such as Interstate Hotels & Resorts, Noble Investment Group, Charter One and Crestline Hotels.

Mr. Hansen is an active hospitality leader currently involved in various educational and industry associations as well as an active board member of various DMO's and city/muncipality boards along with brand advisory councils.  

Mr. Hansen studied his Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Florida and completed his MBA at Northwood University (Michigan).


Mark RolandVice President, Accounting & Finance mroland@kolterhospitality.com

Mark Roland is responsible for the oversight and management of the companies day to day accounting and financial activities. Mr. Roland has a Master's degree in Business Administration and is a Certified Hospitality Accounting Executive as well as an active member of the hospitality financial sector.

With over 20 years experience in the hotel industry, Mr. Roland’s background includes 10+ years with Hilton Hotels Corporation, 7 Years with Starwood Hotels and Resorts, and most recently 5 years with Marriott Hotels & Resorts. His significant experience in both Centralized and Decentralized hotel accounting environments at these top companies has prepared him for his current role with Kolter Hospitality.

Mr. Roland is currently responsible for all of the day to day accounting and financial activities of 11 operating hotels, a Property Owners Association, and accounting for the hotel ownership group and management company.


Aimee MangoldVice President, Human Resources amangold@kolterhospitality.com

As Vice President of Human Resources, Ms. Mangold oversees all Human Resource initiatives to include staffing, benefits & compensation, payroll, employee relations and training & development.

Aimee brings over 20 years of professional human resource leadership experience having worked with The Procaccianti Group and Interstate Hotels where she held various roles as Area Director of Human Resources, Regional Director of Human Resources and Regional Trainer.

Aimee has been a member Human Resources Association of Palm Beach County since 2006 and has held a variety of volunteer positions including Workforce Readiness chairperson and is currently the incoming President-elect for the association.  Additionally, she has earned her Senior Professional Human Resources certification along with her SHRM Senior Certified Professional certification.



Sameer NairVice President, Hotel Acquisitions snair@kolterhospitality.com

As Vice President of Hotel Acquisitions, Nair is responsible for growing Kolter Hospitality’s hotel portfolio by leading deal acquisition efforts such as sourcing, negotiating and executing of transactions, underwriting and capital structuring.  

Nair brings more than seven years of real estate experience to his new role, including acquisitions, asset management, development and special servicing. Previously serving as VP of hotel investments at Banyan Investment Group, Nair completed $120 million in transactions across Marriott, Hilton and Intercontinental Hotels Group franchised hotels. He was responsible for all deal deliverables from identification of target assets to conducting the closings. Prior to Banyan, Nair was a senior analyst at the Aztec Group, where he assisted on private equity investments of $185 million in value-add acquisitions, and four developments valued over $100 million in Miami.


Jay CooperVice President, Hotel Development jcooper@kolterhospitality.com

As VP of Hotel Development, Jay Cooper oversees construction and development of Kolter Hospitality’s new build hotels, property improvement plans, renovations, as well as maintenance projects for the existing hotel portfolio.

With a combined 14 years of experience in construction and cost management, Mr. Cooper’s areas of expertise include both residential and commercial construction, with the last 10 years focused on the hospitality sector building hotels across Europe and North America, from full service golf resorts to urban high rise multi-use properties.     

Mr. Cooper hold a Master’s degree in Civil and Structural Engineering from Bristol University, UK.
